## Connect Claude in 30 seconds

You can connect Trends MCP in three ways. The Connector option works on
Claude.ai (web), Claude Desktop, and Claude mobile, on Pro, Max, Team,
and Enterprise plans.

### Option 1: Add as a Claude Connector (easiest)

Inside Claude, on web ([claude.ai](https://claude.ai)), Desktop, or mobile:

1. Open `Settings` → `Connectors` → `Add custom connector`.
2. Enter these two values (copy them from
   [trendsmcp.ai](https://trendsmcp.ai), there is also an
   **Add to Claude** button there that opens the connector form for you):
   - **Name:** `Trends MCP`
   - **Server URL:** `https://www.trendsmcp.ai/mcp`
3. Save, then sign in with your TrendsMCP account when Claude prompts you.

The connector then shows up in every new Claude conversation and you can
toggle it on per chat.

### Option 2: Claude Desktop (manual config file)

`User` → `Settings` → `Developer` → `Edit Config`. Add inside `mcpServers`:

Never commit your API key to a public repository. Use environment variables
or your OS secret store. Keys can be rotated at any time from your
TrendsMCP dashboard. The `YOUR_API_KEY` placeholder above is a literal
