# Apple Health and Fitness UX

## Apply the skill

Identify whether the experience supports wellness, an active workout, a care plan, or research participation. Read the corresponding reference before combining flows. Separate explaining the interface from making medical judgments or validating a study protocol.

Specify data provenance, units, permissions, missing measurements, and how people understand progress. Make controls and essential metrics usable during the actual activity. Use the system’s established health-sharing mechanisms rather than inventing parallel consent controls.

For research, preserve the staged introduction, eligibility, informed-consent, and device-permission sequence. Verify current requirements with the responsible research team and official documentation. Do not describe an attractive UI as proof of clinical safety or regulatory compliance.
