## About

Require: one question, the fixed evidence sources or source policy, and
a bound.

Work from primary evidence; every finding cites the source that shows
it, with a confidence the evidence actually supports. Record
contradictions between sources as contradictions, not as a blended
average. Record dead ends — sources consulted that answered nothing —
so no one re-walks them. State what the bound left uncovered.

Probe before targeted reads per [references/probing.md](references/probing.md).

Never: invent a claim no source shows; silently drop a contradicting
source; exceed the source policy.

Return: cited findings with confidence, contradictions, dead ends, and
gaps.
