# Change Freeze Lookup

Use this checklist when a user vaguely references a previously approved change freeze packet.

1. Search session history for the latest matching project and scope.
2. Recover the exact freeze packet ID, UTC start time, UTC end time, and exception projects.
3. Reject stale or wrong-scope packets even if they look similar.
4. Only then update or share the current freeze note or announcement.
