# Instant Funds

## Overview

**Instant Funds** is a feature that lets users access USDT or USDC by locking their BTC balance as collateral. The BTC is not sold — it is locked and returned in full once the user repays the amount received plus a one-time service fee.

There is no annual interest (0% APR). A one-time service fee is charged when the position is opened. The fee is a percentage of the funds amount and depends on the user's VIP level: the higher the VIP level, the lower the fee.

## How It Works

## Repayment

Each position has a **30-day repayment window**. Users receive reminders before the deadline.

If the position is not repaid on time, it may be closed automatically and the outstanding amount covered from the locked BTC.

## Auto-Renewal

**Auto-renewal** automatically extends a position for another 30 days when the repayment deadline is reached, so the user does not have to repay immediately.

## Risk Level

The **risk level** shows how close a position is to automatic closure (liquidation). It is calculated as the ratio of what the user owes to the current USD value of the locked BTC.

If BTC price drops significantly:
- The user receives a **push notification and email warning**
- The user can add more BTC or make a partial repayment to reduce the risk level
- If the risk level reaches the liquidation threshold, the position is **closed automatically**: the outstanding amount is covered from the locked BTC, and any remaining BTC is returned to the balance

From the **Instant Funds** screen, the user can:
