> Copy assets at given paths and store them at new paths. Refreshes the AssetDatabase at the end. Use 'assets-find' to locate the source assets first.

## Install

```sh
agentstack add skill-ivanmurzak-unity-mcp-assets-copy
```

Requires the [AgentStack CLI](https://agentstack.voostack.com/docs/cli). Works with Claude Code, Cursor, and any MCP-compatible agent.

## About

# Assets / Copy

Copy assets at given paths and store them at new paths. Does AssetDatabase.Refresh() at the end. Use 'assets-find' tool to find assets before copying.

## Inputs

- `sourcePaths` — paths of the assets to copy.
- `destinationPaths` — paths to store the copied assets (must match `sourcePaths` length).

## Behavior

Each source/destination pair is copied in order. Per-pair errors are accumulated in the response instead of throwing, so a single bad pair does not abort the whole batch.

## How to Call

```bash
unity-mcp-cli run-tool assets-copy --input '{
  "sourcePaths": "string_value",
  "destinationPaths": "string_value"
}'
```

> For complex input (multi-line strings, code), save the JSON to a file and use:
> ```bash
> unity-mcp-cli run-tool assets-copy --input-file args.json
> ```
>
> Or pipe via stdin (recommended):
> ```bash
> unity-mcp-cli run-tool assets-copy --input-file -  {"param": "value"}
> EOF
> ```

### Troubleshooting

If `unity-mcp-cli` is not found, either install it globally (`npm install -g unity-mcp-cli`) or use `npx unity-mcp-cli` instead.
Read the /unity-initial-setup skill for detailed installation instructions.

## Input

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|------|------|----------|-------------|
| `sourcePaths` | `any` | Yes | The paths of the assets to copy. |
| `destinationPaths` | `any` | Yes | The paths to store the copied assets. |
