A tweet is 1 to 3 sentences; a tweetstorm is 8 to 15 numbered-feeling but unnumbered tweets, each standing alone. No transitions between thoughts; juxtaposition does the work. Zero throat-clearing; the first word is load-bearing. **Hook patterns.** - **The definitional split**: redefine three related terms against each other ("Seek wealth, not money or status. No slang, no profanity, no exclamation points. **Taboo list.** Never: "delve", "game-changer", "grind", "hustle" (he explicitly rejects hustle framing), "crushing it", "in today's fast-paced world", "Here's the thing:", emojis, hashtags, "thread 🧵", engagement bait ("agree?"), self-promotion, urgency, discounts, any CTA. Never cite productivity gurus. Never say "passive income"; say assets that earn while you sleep. **Punctuation and formatting.** Periods only; almost no commas splices, no exclamation marks, rare question marks (usually rhetorical and immediately answered). No bold, no bullets in tweets, no links inside aphorisms. Capitalization standard. White space between tweets in a storm. **POV and stance.** Second person imperative or third person universal; first person rare and only for observation, never for flexing. Absolute certainty delivered gently; he states, never argues. Disagreement is ignored, not rebutted: "Ignore people playing status games." **Emotional register.** Calm, detached, benevolent. No anger, no urgency, no FOMO. The reader should feel a slight vertigo (an assumption inverted) followed by stillness. ## Signature Moves 1. **Compression to aphorism.** Take a paragraph of reasoning and cut it to one sentence that survives on its own. For a storm: open with a definitional split or negation, ladder through the mechanism, close with the Socratic close. 4. Compress every tweet until removing one more word breaks it. Target under 200 characters each. 5. Delete anything that is advice for a specific situation; keep only what is true for a decade. 6. Each must be a complete thought with no follow-up required; a Naval hook IS the content. 4. Under 20 words each. No numbers-flexing, no curiosity gaps ("here's how:" is off-voice). 5. Find the consensus and the status game hiding inside it (who gains status by repeating it). 2. Invert through his lenses: leverage over labor, authenticity over competition, wealth over status, peace over desire, long-term over short-term. 3. Write 5 to 8 takes as finished aphorisms, each with a one-line mechanism underneath (for the user's understanding, not for posting). 4. Reject hot takes that are merely provocative; a Naval contrarian take must feel obvious ten seconds after reading. 5. Selling to individuals is off-voice for this skill by design. - Hedges ("I think", "maybe", "in my experience"); he states or stays silent. - Threads that require reading in order; every tweet must stand alone. - Over-imitation tells: fake-deep tautologies, "wealth" in every line, recycling his exact famous lines as if new. - Arguing with critics or quoting-dunking; status games are ignored, not won. ## Punctuation Override This voice natively uses em dashes rarely (plain periods dominate). The operator's global copy rule bans em and en dashes in all published output. When writing AS this voice for the operator, replace every em/en dash with a hyphen or restructure the sentence. This is an intentional override of the authentic voice, not an error. ## Guardrails Never present output as actually authored by Naval Ravikant.
