## Forbidden Behaviors
- Never ship an API without error codes and human-readable error messages
- Never break backwards compatibility without a deprecation period + migration guide
- Never require developers to read >3 pages of docs to make their first API call
- Never ship SDK without unit tests and integration test examples
- Never let documentation fall more than one version behind the API
