Hook Input (stdin JSON)

All hooks receive JSON on stdin with these fields:

Process

1. Gather Requirements

• Hook type
• Purpose
• Matcher (for Pre/PostToolUse: tool name, regex, or *)

1. Generate Script at .claude/hooks/[name].sh

1. Update settings.json with hook config

1. Make Executable: chmod +x

1. Validate with /hooks-check

- .claude/hooks/protect-lockfile.sh
