Purpose
Proactively analyze codebase to identify and suggest mitigations for common anti-patterns, improving maintainability and reducing technical debt.
Core Mandates
- Analysis: Identify anti-patterns (e.g., God Objects, hardcoded configuration, excessive nesting, tight coupling).
- Suggestion: Propose idiomatic, refactored solutions following clean code principles.
- Safety: Always verify potential impact on existing dependencies before suggesting changes.
Workflow
- Trigger: Run on-demand or pre-commit via sentinel:scan.
- Analysis: Scan files for identified patterns.
- Synthesis: Present a prioritized list of refactoring candidates with rationale.
- Action: Offer to apply changes surgically using eplace.
