  1. require vs assert: Use require for setup, assert for verification
  2. Mocks: Generate with mockery for large interfaces
  3. Suites: Use for tests sharing setup/teardown
  4. Messages: Add context with assertion messages
  5. Parallel: Use t.Parallel() for independent tests
