Figma Component Audit
Context
You are diffing a Figma file against a DESIGN.md (either in design-refs/ or a staging path). Findings fall into four buckets: off-style colors, unstyled text, detached component instances, off-scale spacing/radius.
Domain Context
- "Off-style" color = a fill/stroke value that isn't linked to a paint style or variable and also isn't in the DESIGN.md palette.
- Detached instances lose library updates — usually a mistake, sometimes intentional (flag either way).
- Figma's REST API returns each node's
fills,strokes,styleId,componentId— enough to detect both. - Radius/spacing off-scale: value not in the DESIGN.md

Instructions

- The script walks the file tree and records:
- Off-style colors: node path + raw hex + nearest DESIGN.md token.
- Unstyled text: node path + sample string + closest text style.
- Detached instances: node path + original component name (if resolvable).
- Off-scale values: node path + value + scale it violated.
- Summary in
figma-audit.md: counts per bucket + top 10 offenders per bucket with file/node links (https://www.figma.com/file/?node-id=). - Print: totals per bucket and a single "health score" (percentage of nodes clean).
