Instructions
Use this skill to guide an artifacts-building session (in the Claude app) from initial idea to a usable, shareable interactive experience.
- Start with a single-sentence goal.
- What should the artifact help the user do or learn?
- Choose the artifact type.
- Examples: productivity tool, educational game, flashcards, interactive story, tutor.
- Define the interaction loop.
- What inputs does the user provide?
- What does the artifact output or update?
- How does it handle multiple topics or levels?
- Iterate in small steps.
- Ask for one change at a time (layout, content, logic, difficulty).
- After each change, check that the artifact remains understandable and easy to use.
- Organize and share.
- Save versions or fork an existing artifact to customize.
- Share the artifact and confirm viewers can access it.
Examples
Example: Flashcard artifact iteration
Goal: "Help me study a topic with interactive flashcards."
- Step 1: Ask the user to pick a topic.
- Step 2: Generate a small deck.
- Step 3: Add a simple progress indicator.
- Step 4: Add a way to switch topics.
Example: Customize an existing artifact
- Identify what you want to keep.
- Replace the content/theme.
- Add one interactive feature.
- Verify the new version is still coherent.
