Reliability & compatibility
Declared compatibility
Compatibility is declared by the source manifest. End-to-end runtime verification is coming, see below.
We're building live execution health for every listing: tool-call success rate, median latency, uptime, and last-checked timestamps, measured, not self-reported. It isn't live yet, so we don't show numbers we can't stand behind.

Purpose
This is a structural example, not a working skill. It exists so a new contributor can copy this folder, replace the content, and know their SKILL.md will validate. It deliberately does nothing useful: there is no real methodology behind it, and the output below is a placeholder pattern, not a genuine reasoning aid.
The real skills under skills/standalone/ and (in Phase 3) skills/discovery/ show how a sharp, specific skill is written. Read those before authoring your own.
Procedure
- Read the pasted input.
- Note one observable thing about it.
- Note one thing the input does not tell you.
- Note one action that would close the gap.
- Emit the output contract below. Do not exceed it.
Output contract
Emit exactly these three sections.
What we know
The single observable thing about the input. One line.
What we don't
The single missing piece. One line.
What to do next
The single action that would close the gap. One line.
Guardrails
- Do not emit prose beyond the three lines above. The point of this example is
shape, not content.
- Do not invent facts about the input that are not present in it.
- Do not treat this skill as a real reasoning aid — it is a template. Replace it
before shipping anything to a PM.
