About

novel-draft-scene

Purpose

Draft prose from a canon-backed brief, not from vague memory.

Use novel-load-context first.

Workflow

  1. Restate the chapter goal and the 3-5 must-use facts.
  2. Restate the anti-AI rules before drafting.
  3. Draft the scene or chapter.
  4. Keep the prose concrete:
  • action over explanation
  • specific sensory detail over abstract mood
  • conflict progression over recap
  1. Hand off to novel-continuity-review before treating the draft as current truth.

Guardrails

  • Never contradict character state, known location, or hard world rules.
  • If the brief is underspecified, stop and request a better brief.
  • Technique transfer is allowed; named-author cloning is not.
