About

Entertain (Meme)

This lane earns the follow. Nobody follows an account that only educates and invites. Humor that makes the ICP feel seen builds the Relate side of the feed, so the Guide and Invite posts have an audience when they land. The visual carries this post; the caption stays light.

Step 1: Read the brain

Read brain/My_Agency_Context.md (WHO I SERVE, MY COMMUNITY, MY BRAND) and brain/voice/voice-profile.md. Humor is voice-sensitive: a joke the owner would never make is a miss even if it is funny.

Step 2: Find the funny

Two sources, use either or both:

  • Trending formats: search for meme formats currently circulating that could carry an insurance or small-business punchline. The format should still be recognizable but not weeks past its peak.
  • Relatable moments: the ICP's everyday absurdities. The renewal letter nobody can read. The "I'll deal with it later" folder. The customer who asks for a certificate at 4:59 PM on Friday. Insurance from the client's side of the desk.

Generate 5 candidate concepts, one line each.

Step 3: Apply the humor rules

  • Punch at situations, never at people. Clients, competitors, and carriers are never the butt of the joke. Paperwork, jargon, Murphy's law, and the owner laughing at themselves are fair game.
  • Keep it insurance-related or agency-life-related. Random humor grows the wrong audience.
  • Culturally specific beats generic when the ICP shares a culture. An inside joke the community recognizes outperforms a template meme.
  • If a joke needs explaining, it is dead. Cut it.
  • Humor still passes compliance. A meme that implies "your agent is ripping you off" fails the disparagement and absolutes rules.

Step 4: Pick one and design visual-first

Choose the strongest concept. Write the visual before the caption:

  • The image IS the joke: setup and punchline on the image, or a single frame that lands the feeling
  • Text on image: short, bold, readable on a phone in one second
  • Brief the image-brand skill with the concept, the text overlay, and the emotion (laughing-with, not laughing-at). If the owner appears in the meme, it uses the face-reference photos, nobody else, per the standing rules.

Step 5: Write the light caption

One or two lines that add a wink, not a lecture. A soft CTA is enough ("Tag the friend who still has their policy in the glovebox"). Agency name appears naturally in the caption or on the image footer with a contact method. Do not bolt a hard sales pitch onto a meme; it kills both.

Step 6: Hand off

  1. Run the compliance-check skill on the complete draft (yes, memes too).
  2. On PASS, create the post folder in output/drafts/ per output/README.md and proceed to posting-mmm. On FAIL, revise per the exact concern and re-check.

Feedback loop

Track which memes earn saves, shares, and new follows. Note winners in brain/what-worked.md. The Sunday repurpose lane can rework a winning meme into a new variation.
