Objetivo
Produzir testes significativos para código existente, cobrindo comportamento e bordas.
Quando utilizar
- Código novo ou legado sem cobertura.
- Completar lacunas antes de refatorar.
- Adicionar testes exigidos por regra (repositório, hook, mapper, helper, util, UI).
Conhecimentos necessários
- Padrões de teste do projeto (ver skill
rn-testing). - Identificação de casos: caminhos, ramos, bordas e erros.
- Estratégia de mocks e isolamento por camada.
- Queries de acessibilidade para UI.
Fluxo de execução
- Leia a unidade e liste comportamentos observáveis e ramos.
- Enumere casos: sucesso, erro e borda (
null/undefined/vazio/limite). - Monte mocks das dependências (rede, store, navegação, nativo) antes dos imports.
- Escreva 3–5 testes focados por arquivo em Arrange/Act/Assert ("should").
- Rode, verifique a cobertura dos ramos relevantes e ajuste.
Boas práticas
- Teste comportamento observável, não implementação.
- Um assert conceitual por teste; nomes descritivos.
- Reutilize fixtures/factories de dados de teste.
- Prefira poucos testes de alto valor a muitos triviais.
Armadilhas comuns
- Gerar testes que só espelham a implementação.
- Cobertura alta sem asserts significativos.
- Esquecer ramos de erro e bordas.
- Mocks frágeis acoplados a detalhes internos.
Critérios de sucesso
- Ramos e bordas relevantes cobertos.
- Testes falham quando o comportamento quebra.
- Suíte verde, determinística e sustentável.
