About
TikTok Ad Script Generator
Platform: TikTok Ads Category: creative Tier: pro
Purpose
Generate complete, platform-native TikTok ad scripts — structured as directional talking points and scene cues rather than verbatim recitation scripts — that drive thumbstop, hold rate, and conversion action in the format TikTok's algorithm and audiences reward. Scripts are built to match the creative format, funnel stage, conversion goal, and audience awareness level.
When to Use
- Writing new TikTok ad concepts from scratch for UGC creators, in-house talent, or personal brand operators
- Iterating a fatiguing creative with a new hook, new body angle, or new CTA on the same offer structure
- Testing multiple script angles simultaneously in a creative batch (3–5 concepts per test cycle)
- Building a creator-ready script package that covers hook variations, body alternates, and CTA options in one deliverable
- Operator is creating their own on-camera TikTok ads and needs a structured, natural-sounding script framework
Inputs Required
- Product or service and core offer (what the viewer gets, what they pay or commit, and the primary benefit)
- Target audience: awareness stage (Problem Aware, Solution Aware, Product Aware) and key emotional driver (fear of missing out, pain avoidance, aspiration, social proof, curiosity)
- Desired creative format: talking head, POV, before/after reveal, reaction, product demo, voiceover + B-roll, text-overlay only
- Creative length: 9s, 15s, 21s, 30s, or 45s
- CTA: what specific action should the viewer take?
- Tone: casual/relatable, authoritative/expert, energetic/hype, empathetic/calm, humorous
- Specific hook angle if provided — optional, will be generated from offer analysis if not supplied
What This Skill Does
This skill generates a complete TikTok ad script package for the specified creative, including: 3 hook options (with mechanic labels), scene-by-scene direction with creator talking points per scene, caption overlay suggestions, CTA language options, and an alternate body section if iteration is needed. Scripts are formatted as bullet-point direction, not verbatim copy, to preserve creator authenticity on delivery.
Analysis Workflow
- Define the conversion architecture. What belief must the viewer hold at each stage of the video to take the CTA? Map the belief shift arc: Initial State (what they believe or feel before watching) → Belief Shift (what the creative must change) → Desired State (what they believe after watching that drives the click).
- Write 3 distinct hook options matched to the format and awareness stage:
- For Problem Aware audiences: open with the pain in visceral, relatable language. "The reason your [problem] keeps happening is not what you think."
- For Solution Aware audiences: open with the outcome or transformation. "I dropped [number] [result] in [timeframe] and this is exactly what I did."
- For Product Aware audiences: lead with the offer or competitive differentiator. "[Competitor alternative] costs you $[X]. Here's what $[Y] gets you instead."
- Structure the body based on creative length:
- 9–15s: Hook (0–3s) → Core benefit or offer reveal (3–10s) → CTA (10–15s). Minimal body — lean on a single compelling claim.
- 21–30s: Hook (0–3s) → Problem validation (3–8s) → Solution reveal (8–18s) → Proof/social proof element (18–24s) → CTA (24–30s).
- 45s+: Hook (0–3s) → Problem story (3–10s) → Discovery moment (10–18s) → Product demonstration or benefit walkthrough (18–35s) → Objection handling (35–40s) → CTA + urgency (40–45s).
- Write scene-by-scene talking points (not scripts):
- Each scene bullet is a direction: what the creator should communicate, not the exact words.
- Include visual/action cues: "Hold product up to camera," "Cut to product in use," "React genuinely to the result."
- Include emotion/energy direction: "Sound genuinely surprised," "Lean into the camera for emphasis," "Pause before the reveal."
- Write caption overlay suggestions for key moments: hook statement as text on screen, key benefit in bold mid-video, CTA phrase at end.
- Generate 2–3 CTA options: urgency-based ("Only X left"), value-based ("Start for free today"), curiosity-based ("See why 10,000+ people switched").
- Write an alternate body section for the highest-confidence hook — one variation in angle or storytelling approach that can be tested without re-filming the full creative.
- Add creator direction footer: energy notes, delivery permissions, imperfection encouragement, and any compliance reminders.
Output Requirements
- 3 hook options with mechanic labels (Pain Open, Result-First, Curiosity/Pattern Interrupt)
- Scene-by-scene script direction table: time marker, creator talking points, visual/action direction, caption overlay suggestion
- 3 CTA language options with intensity rating (soft, mid, hard)
- Alternate body section for A/B test without reshoot
- Creator direction notes (tone, energy, delivery authenticity guidance)
- Compliance reminder section: what claims require substantiation, what language to avoid for TikTok policy adherence
Platform-Specific Best Practices
- TikTok scripts should be written for the ear, not the eye. Read every script aloud — if it sounds like copy, it will perform like copy. If it sounds like a real person talking, it will perform like organic content.
- The hook is the only section that benefits from precision. The body and CTA should leave room for the creator's natural voice and personal storytelling — that variation is what makes UGC feel genuine.
- Silence and pauses are underused in TikTok scripts. A deliberate 0.5-second pause before a reveal creates dramatic tension that increases hold rate. Build these into scene direction.
- "Scroll-stopping energy" at second 0–1 is not just verbal — it is visual. Script the visual setup of the hook (what the viewer sees before a word is spoken) as precisely as the verbal hook.
- Shorter scripts almost always outperform longer ones for cold traffic conversion. If a script can tell the story in 15 seconds, do not build it to 30 seconds to add more features.
- Platform-native phrases that signal non-ad content perform better in hooks: "This is actually insane," "No one talks about this," "I can't believe this worked," "Real talk for a second."
Guardrails
- Do not write a fully verbatim script for a UGC creator — it destroys natural delivery and native feel.
- Do not script more than one major claim per creative — multiple claims dilute focus and reduce conversion intent.
- Do not write hooks that make unsubstantiated health, income, or results claims — TikTok ad policy will flag or suppress.
- Never write a script that leads with the brand name or logo reveal in the first 3 seconds — this is the most common creative mistake on TikTok.
Example Requests
- "Write a TikTok ad script for a 30-second talking head UGC about a $97 online course on freelance copywriting. Target: 22–35-year-olds who want to work from home. Give me 3 hook options."
- "I need a 15-second TikTok script for a product demo of a portable blender. Cold traffic, impulse buy, $34.99. Make it feel like organic content and give me a bold claim hook."
- "My talking head UGC script is performing but fatiguing. Give me 2 alternate body section variations I can film without re-shooting the hook, to extend the creative's life."
