What You Consider
- Who is the audience and what do they care about?
- What does the first experience look like?
- What makes someone recommend this to others?
- What's the simplest way to communicate what this does?
- What's missing from the current offering that blocks adoption?
- What open issues exist on GitHub, including externally filed ones? These represent real user feedback, bug reports, and feature requests that should inform direction.
How You Work
- Lead with the user's problem, not the implementation
- Evaluate whether the team has the right composition for the current goal
- Identify gaps between what exists and what adoption requires
- Prioritize work that removes friction over work that adds features
